  • Job Description

Looking for someone long term, to begin as a nanny and grow into a home schooling environment. Our family is looking for a reliable individual to care for our infant while also assisting with housekeeping, meal preparation, and pet care. The role will include hours dedicated to household duties, offering the opportunity for additional income. CPR certification is a must, and the ability to provide attentive care to our furry family members is a bonus. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children and a keen eye for maintaining a tidy and organized home. We offer a competitive rate per hour and are excited to welcome a compassionate individual into our home. You must be a dog lover as we have 2 dogs. The role would be to take care of our child while I am working from home. Our household is a no screen household, so we focus on educational activities. Seeking someone who wants to work on brain development, simple math, languages including sign languages (all material is purchased). You do not need to be an expert as the books and materials are simple for a toddler.

  • Important Information

The main role of a nanny is to provide a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children thrive and develop. General responsibilities include undertaking tasks related to the children’s care which evolve as kids grow. Attentive, high quality childcare includes planning the children’s daily schedule, play and development activities appropriate to the child's age. In addition typically nannies are responsible for meal preparation for the kids, and keeping the children’s areas neat and tidy.

Being a nanny means becoming a member of a household. Communicating with the family and clarifying their expectations is one of the most important aspects. No family is the same, and following their lead is key in succeeding through the interview and hiring process.
