Job Description
Hello everyone,
I am seeking a part-time babysitter for my eight-month-old daughter in Schomberg (near Hwy 9 and Hwy 27).
I need someone to care for my baby while I run errands, visit the salon, or enjoy a night out with my husband ( it’s been a while since we had a dinner alone lol)
The hours would likely be no more than 4-6 hours a week. I'm flexible with scheduling, so we can find a time that works for both of us. I may even be at home doing chores, but I need someone who can attend to my baby.Requirements: Must have references, experience with infants, CPR certification, and a background check.
A car is a MUST. There's no public transportation in my area. -
Important Information
Occasional child care requires a specific mindset. It's being comfortable and confident to step in and help a family from time to time and manage the adjustment particularly younger kids face to parents not being around.
Its important to create a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating experience. A great babysitter from the kids perspective is someone who is fun, loves to play, sing, run and do creative projects. For a parent, it's all of the above, but also meal preparation for the kids, keeping the children’s areas neat and tidy, helping older kids with homework and being able to respect rules around discipline, nap/bed time and process.
