  • About Me

    I am currently employed as a casual housekeeper with Yaletown House, where I have worked since 2012. Through this experience I have come to appreciate the residents and caregivers, in terms of individual needs being met, as well as provincial standards. Although not directly involved in personal care of residents, I have had the opportunity to engage with some them, which really adds to my job satisfaction.

    I also visit my mother regularly, who is in a care home close to me. She has had alzheimer's for the past 10 years and although it has been a challenge at times, it has also brought us closer together in a loving way. I have learned to slow down and value the simple pleasures with her.

    These current, ongoing experiences with the elderly and dementia make me an excellent candidate for senior care.

    I am soft spoken, compassionate and conscientious, with the ability to adapt according to changing client needs.

      Zoe and I have been neighbours for 18 years, during which time we have been co-workers on some special projects. Zoe showed herself to be a determined and dedicated worker. She has demonstrated a gentle but unquestionable authority, along with strong leadership by example. Other outstanding qualities are the loyalty and integrity she brings to any position she undertakes. She has a "Can-do" attitude and is a quick study when it comes to new responsibilities. In closing I fee that Zoe is a well rounded person, in good physical shape and capable of becoming a credit to any future employer.
