I am a child education specialist, with 6 years teaching experience. I have recently completed an advanced teaching degree at the University of Ottawa. I have extensive experience with children and adolescents and learning multiple languages. Kind, patient and helping young woman who will help your child excel at school and in sports. I am trilingual (Eng, Fre, Ita)
As a former competitive gymnast, I highly believe in healthy living. I also personal train and have taught cheerleading and gymnastics for toddlers and gymnastics for the Quebec Special Olympics.
Furthermore, I firmly believe in all children having an equal learning opportunity and it is my duty to foster a cohesive and inclusive environment conducive to learning. This framework is achieved through demonstrating care by learning about my students' needs and what motivates them. Since motivation is innate, I believe I hold a strong responsibility in ensuring that it does not start to dwindle down. Therefore, it is incumbent for me to implement skillful teaching, where I get to learn about my student's intrinsic motivators and build lessons around these interests and real-life concerns, while simultaneously meeting the curriculum needs. In turn, there will be less effort made in managing desired behaviour if the interests of students are nurtured, valued and given autonomy.
