Since the day I was born and my mom took me directly from the hospital to the daycare that she owned and operated, I have been surrounded by kids - and I love it. I started babysitting when I was 9 years old, and have worked in several different daycares over the years, in both paid and voluntary positions, for over 15 years of childcare experience. I am energetic, enthusiastic, and playful, but these qualities are not to be outweighed by my sense of responsibility and duty. I am educationally inclined, and believe that every experience is a learning opportunity. I have tutored kids and peers in a variety of subjects, including French, English, Math, and History, and feel comfortable that my high success rate throughout elementary and high schools in addition to my completion of post secondary education equip me with the ability to help children succeed in school. I am personable and silly and get along well with kids, while being mature and intelligent to interact with parents and make them feel comfortable leaving their children with me. I am well rounded, active, and eager to work with families that promote open-mindedness and acceptance with their children.
