I've been working with children for the greater part of my life, and have found to have loved the responsibility. I also love to inspire the younglings; they are like little sponges, ready and excited to learn about anything! Because I have worked with children (ages 18months- 13years old) for over 12 years, I have found a way to communicate with them in a way so that they can still feel respected and un-belittled, which I find is very important. While no still means no, sometimes if they understand why, they can learn from the situation.
I have taken care of countless numbers of children, some of which I have been fortunate enough to see blossom into beautiful, young adults. Till this day, I still have strong and positive references about my experience with their children.
I always encourage arts and crafts (to let out their creative side), fun interactive games (ex; boardgames) (that helps stimulate the mind), and feelings of accomplishments (stickers/ prizes) once they have completed a chore, homework or simply something you've requested them to do. It's important to make them feel like they are succeeding -even in the little things!
I have also given swimming lessons as well as taken care of healthy lunch and dinner meals.
Well, there's lots more I can share with you, but that's the frosting for now!
