Hello. My names Sofia, I am 21 years old and currently a student. I am currently in my third year at Brock University and am doing my honours degree in Child and Youth Studies, with the ending goal to go into teaching.
I am really passionate about children and love working with them. Aside from devoting my schooling to studying children I have plenty of experience working with them as well:) I have volunteered in several classrooms, was an assistant coach of a soccer team, a volunteer at McMaster hospital in the maternity ward, a volunteer for a special needs activity program as well as a volunteer for a children's reading program. Lastly I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old and have several families that will provide references if you would like.
Not only have a volunteered and have a large amount of experience working with children, I am also CPR certified, and have learned proper CPR techniques for infants, as well as I have my police check and am willing to provide you with that.
I reside downtown Toronto and am finished school in April so I will be looking for full day time hours during my summer but am looking to continue when the school year begins as well, and will work with that scheduling when the time comes. I am very flexible with availability and would be willing to do some week nights as well as weekends.
