My name is Samantha, I am in my second year at the University of Waterloo studying Health Promotion. I come from a large family of 3 sisters and one brother. I was 11 years old when my brother was born and had the amazing opportunity to learn about child development and needs through being able to participate in his upbringing. Our household also has a 12 year old dog and 2 cats.
I enjoy working with children and hope to pursue a career that involves helping children and youth. Along with Health and Wellbeing, I am also really interested in Psychology.
I am a competitive dancer and the assistant captain of the dance team at Waterloo which is completely student run. I have vast experience working with children through teaching dance as well as volunteering at my church for the children's liturgy program.
I consider myself to be a highly organized, passionate and caring individual who takes pride in doing jobs efficiently and effectively.
Other than dancing I enjoy reading, playing guitar, spending quality time with my family, playing board games and walking my dog.
