    I have been a teacher by career, recently retired. I am a young grandmother, my two grandsons are 3 1/2 years old and 3 months old. They live in View Royal with my son and his wife, and my two daughters live with their husbands in Duncan and Maple Ridge. Children are the light of the world and teach us with their natural love, questioning and energy. I am outgoing, energetic, have lots of common sense, and sing great silly songs.

    My teaching career, being a parent, and being a grandmother have been my training ground.

    Raising my own children, babysitting for friends, taking care of children at school, and taking care of my grandchildren.

    I want part time so that I have time for my own family.
