I am from Vancouver BC but I live in Saskatoon in the summers (May-August). I am a passionate, hard-working, out-of-the box problem solver with years of experience coaching and leading children and youth in the community. Coming from an educational background in Psychology with a focus in child development and counseling, I have a genuine sense of empathy, understanding, and excellent communication skills. I have the ability to relate to people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs, and have a passion for providing adolescents with positive and fun experiences. As head coach of White Rock Diver’s Learn to Dive program, I have gained a significant amount of experience in multi-tasking between planning practices, coaching kids and supervising, encouraging, and mentoring coaches in training. Furthermore, it is required of me to work with little supervision and to independently make important decisions and take initiative. In addition, I have extensive leadership experience volunteering and interning for Young Life Canada, a youth mentorship program. As a former mentor for students, I was able to vastly develop my ability to positively encourage adolescents and guide them in living a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
