    I am currently a third year student in my Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Alberta, and have completed my long-term care, acute care, as well as psychiatric clinical practicum as part of my training. In the past, I worked at an outdoor education centre/summer camp as both an outdoor programmer and a wellness and inclusion specialist. in which I learned how to interact with children and mastered the art of play. I also administered medication to those campers who had both acute and/or chronic illnesses, and managed first aid situations that would arise. Caring for children is my passion. Allowing children to grow, explore and learn is a rewarding experience that keeps me excited to care for children of all ages!
