Penny Lou was hired January 2014 as a live-in caregiver for my elderly mother until December 2014 when my mother was admitted to hospital. We then hired Penny Lou to feed my mother her lunch and supper meals until she passed away in February 2015. My mother required total care for personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, transferring from bed, wheelchair, toilet or chair, and stability when walking with a walker or cane. She provided all meals, did laundry, and kept the house neat, clean and tidy. Penny Lou was a very conscientious, reliable, pleasant and caring person, and a great companion. She loved to cook and provided nutritious meals. Her past experience as a care aide provided her the knowledge and skills to competently perform her duties and responsibilities. Penny Lou was highly thought of by all our family and would recommend her for any position she is applying for.
