I am Patricia Rust. Born and raised in Canada. My parents are European, father Swiss and my mother was German. I speak some German and mostly English. I grew up in the Cariboo and then ventured off to travel, see the world and get an education. My education is in Human Geography and Business Administration. While attending Human Geography at UBC and then Business Education at Capilano College, I worked to pay my way through school and in doing so became rather proficient in almost all aspects of the Hospitality Industry from chamber maiding to waitressing to front desk to running a Hotel. In the hotel industry, I became the problem solver for many software and hardware issues. IT became a natural place to land and subsequently, I've worked in the Corporate world within IT and Information analysis. This leaves one tied to a desk and now after many years in the field I am developing my skill set in the realms of well-being, health, people and our homes. These are some of my main passions. Currently, I am re-educating myself in these realms in order to develop my own business in health, lifestyle and the home. I am very interested in interacting with people and specifically families.
I have always been an active person. I love the outdoors, hiking, climbing and skiing. Besides activities, I also love food. Food can make the difference in how well we live, think and the daily energy we have. Yes, it is a definite passion and interest as I age and understand the importance of a balanced life style.

I've traveled some, lived abroad in Switzerland and Germany a few times which have brought about an understanding and an appreciation of different thoughts and cultures. I like working with children because they remind us to slow down and to look at things a bit differently.
