My name is Natalia and I am from Uruguay. I have been in Canada for 9 years working with children as a caregiver. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology from my country of origin and I am currently doing an internship as a family wellness worker at a Settlement agency. I am working in a program called Emotional Intelligence at Driftwood Public school once a week.
I have worked for four different families since I moved to Canada and I got excellent references from all of them. At the moment, I am doing occasional babysitting for different families. I am finishing my internship at the end of May and I will be starting SSW full time program at Seneca college this fall. I am very interested in working as a nanny during this coming Summer.
As a caregiver I am described by the families I worked for as a loveable, energetic and responsible person who they can trust to leave their children and go to work everyday with peace of mind. I am also very sociable and flexible when it comes to understand the different families needs. I am a person who enjoys outdoor activities like going to the parks, biking, and simply walking. I have healthy eating habits and I try to keep on educating myself when it comes to food and well being.
My first language is Spanish and I am totally happy to teach the kids as a bonus if the parents require it.
