I have been babysitting as far back as I can remember. I have two younger brothers and growing up I spent a lot of my summers babysitting them and taking them to activities. I am a girl that likes outdoors, sports, travelling, reading, cooking, and going on adventures. I have always been involved in competitive sports. I have worked both as a live in and live out Nanny both in Canada and the United States. I have also done a lot of casual babysitting. This past year I spent several months volunteering at the JUMP program at the local Goodlife Gym in Halifax and I truly enjoyed this experience. I have my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Degree from Saint Mary's University and am currently working on my Social Work degree from Dalhousie University. I have had the opportunity to travel to several different places. I have spent time in Italy, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Cuba, Dominican, and several of the United States, doing paid work as well as volunteer work. I try and travel each year when ever I get a chance. My friends and family are very important to me as well. I have always had an interest in working with children and I plan to use my social work degree to further that interest. I am especially interested in diversity, inclusiveness, child and family well-being, and social justice. This summer I have a fairly flexibly schedule so I am able to do daytime, evenings and weekend care. Let me know if you have any questions!
