I’m feeling both grateful and excited having found this opportunity with such a compassionate and progressive organization. I am recently engaged to be married and now seek meaningful employment in Calgary where he has made our home. And so to find this opportunity with such a benevolent organization aligned with my own holistic philosophy about being in service, truly fills my heart with hope.

In addition to my BA in Psychology, I'm trained in several crisis management modalities and communication methods that further support my qualifications for this position. I value clear and consistent documentation and respect honest communication, thus hold myself to those standards. As a professional and a loving human being, I am both responsible and gracious when dealing with partnering supports and agencies.

I have a wide variety of experiences specifically suited to this position, most specifically 20 plus years working with vulnerable populations. In addition, having been a professional entertainer and event coordinator in the music industry for the past 27 years, I’m very comfortable speaking to people in a variety of contexts. I’ve realized I have a knack for building relationships which has proven advantageous when connecting with children.

I love to cook and play and sing and dance and use my imagination. I team music and have experience tutoring elementary aged children in a formal educational institution. I am happy to help around the house or run errands. I do not smoke and I am very fit including being a certified yoga instructor. Mindfulness, safety, presence and love are my contexts while working with children. I am teachable and confident and I have deep listening and communication skills.

My heart’s desire is for a positive evolution to unfold in the global community. It is my experience that the cycle of positive evolution occurs one person at a time. I feel that this position is the perfect fit for my skillset and aspirations, and I sincerely hope you do too.
