Hello dear family.
My name is Mayuko, I am 29 years old and I am from Japan. I am currently a student of TLC Edmonton. This 7 month full-time training course prepares me to be a caregiver in Canada. I am learning about child development, disciplining approaches, CPR/First aid, nutrition, safety, and food preparation. The program also includes a practical element that enables me to apply the theoretical skills that I have learnt.
I am a proficient English speaker and have experience with children of several ages.
I am sensitive, mature, responsible, hard working, sensitive and patient.
In my free time I like to read, take pictures, martial arts, meet friends and go for walks.
I am looking for long term position under live in care giver program (LMIA required).
I have always enjoyed to guide and teach children. I also love having fun with children, playing, reading and exploring the outdoors. I took care of my cousin's son from infant to school age, and also cared for my friends' two daughters (age 1-3).
I volunteered in a child care centre in Edmonton (infant, toddler and preschoolers).
Since I will graduate end of January 2014, I will be able to work in Canada after receiving my work permit.
