About Me
I trained as a paediatric Nurse in the UK and moved to Canada in 2010. I have relished being a stay at home mum with my 3 children, now aged, 10, 8 and 4. I have pursued the path of Postpartum Doula as I cherish the early childhood years and know what joy and happiness children can bring. I hope that I can use my experiences and passion to support families in whichever way they need, to encompass life with their new baby.

I first met Martha as fellow parent at our local preschool. From the get-go she was incredible to observe -- juggling 3 children of different developmental stages with ease, expertise and joy. She came across and does to this day as a born caregiver -- warm, nurturing experienced, knowledgeable, confident, practical, fun, unflappable. She has these qualities in spades -- so much so that I called upon her for doula help when my third child was born. She exceeded my expectations, which, as a pediatric health care professional, are high. I consider myself lucky to know her and see her as a 'Mom Mentor'. I have no hesitation recommending her. A potential employer would be lucky indeed to have Martha caring for their child.
