I came from a close-knit family who observes good family values. As someone who came from the Philippines, it's in our culture to take care and nurture each of our family member's needs, especially our grandparents. I grew up seeing my parents taking turns in caring for my grandparents, as well as my cousins looking after my great aunts and uncles. Perhaps no training is needed if you know deep within you that caring for the elderly comes naturally. But being a Registered Nurse myself, I can say that my medical knowledge and my inner passion on caring is what I can offer to any client and their family.
