Hi there.
My name is Mara and I am headed in to my second year at Ryerson University studying Radio and Television Arts. Because of my schooling I would be looking for full/part time work for the summer, and part time throughout the school year (September through April).
I come from a very family oriented background with my parents approaching 25 years of marriage and a younger sister approaching her 15th birthday.
Because my parents both worked full time I spent a lot of time in daycare and felt the care provided was not individualized, which is what I strive to do. I am very artistic, and love to draw, sketch and paint. As well I am very musical based with some of my talents including playing guitar, ukulele, singing, and playing piano as I have a strong belief in artistic teachings. Both of my parents teach english and I was taught to read and write at a very young age; which is another valuable trait that I encourage with the children I take care of.
I have always loved working with children, enjoying their curiosity, fondness for life and energy. I am very patient, hardworking and devoted to providing the care and attention that children need.
