Hi there, I have years of experience helping people as I come from a nursing background. I worked for 4 years at St. Paul's Hospital all over the hospital. Before nursing I looked after lots of neighborhood kids from when they were little and also have recent nanny experience for two young children aged 2 and 4. They were busy little bees but we enjoyed many activities including local drop-in play gyms, library story time, go bananas in North Vancouver, the park, the beach and many indoor activities. I love animals and have 2 cats of my own so that is not an issue for me. I have a driver's license but no car currently. I have use public transit or my bike and had no issues taking the kids in a double stroller on the bus to activities. I believe in consistency with kids and following through with limits including perhaps time out. I am a big believer in reading to and with kids and having that one on one time together. I am open to whatever activities they are interested in that will encourage their creativity and imagination including art and crafts. I have a current criminal record check and CPR.
