As a child care giver, I have over 10 years of experience. My mother ran an at home daycare which I helped her run after school. Once I was in University, I cared for children of three different families ranging from ages of 1-12 on an occasional basis. I have experience preparing and cooking healthy meals, planning activities, helping with homework, planning fun and educational outings, and bathing/preparing children for the day or for bed.
I am a musical person and love to get the kids I care for involved in making up songs, singing, playing guitar, etc. I worked at a camp for young boys for 2 years and was responsible for looking after their well being at all times.
As for housekeeping, I worked as a housekeeper for four months and also house sat for one of my previous bosses while they went on executive business trips. I have experience caring for gardens, light housekeeping duties, turning over beds, laundry, and managing messages/mail. I am a very active and healthy individual and treat the kids I care for as if they were my own.
