Hi everyone,
My name is Kristina Kouvelos and I am a very enthusiastic young woman who has been around kids for years. I am the oldest out of a big family so naturally I have a very maternal side.
Written below is some of my many qualifications:
I have been babysitting for years, since the age of 12.
I was a Live-out Nanny for 6 months, caring for a 3 month old and a 3 year old. Was incharge of lunches and start of some dinners. Laundry, household duties for the children and family.
I have also been a swim coach for a total of three years, taking on the challenge of over 15 children in a pool at one time. I taught young kids how to interact with one another and teach them individual goal setting. I helped give the children the confidence they needed to succeed not only in the pool but out in their everyday lives.
I was also trusted and elected to take eight children from Canada to Norway with an organization called CISV and had the chance experience a wonderful exchange with eight other Norwegian children. I spent my time being a friend and mother to these children. I watched over and cared for them and when they simply just wanted a hug.
I have spent countless hours as a private tutor for school trying to show each child that they have the ability to reach for their dreams if they simply set their minds to it. I try my very hardest to motivate every child.
