My name is Kirstyn, I am 26 years old. I graduated from Bow Valley College in 2014 and gained a diploma in justice studies, specializing in Correctional studies. I have a 3 year old daughter, who is my world and is very social and athletic. while going to school I was also working part time, and raising my daughter. That made me realize how strong and independent of a person I am. I enjoy snowboarding in the winter, and swimming, camping, and going on long walks in the summertime. I am a very adventurous and outgoing person, I get along with everyone. My daughter and I are often doing crafts at home or are out and about going to parks, or finding things out in Calgary to do. I am starting to learn french, and have also taken a level 1 sign language course. I am very passionate about learning both of these languages to the fullest. I am looking for work where my daughter will be allowed to be with me, I am a single mother trying to do the best I can. My daughter does not like being at a daycare, and my family have very different schedules which conflict with being able to help me with watching her. I have been babysitting since I was 14, and also took some babysitting courses when I was younger, I have experience with all ages, and have been able to watch up to 5 children at a time. I am also very passionate about teaching, I am always finding fun and new ways of helping my daughter learn.
