Hello,
I am a 22 year-old nursing student attending the University of British Columbia just finishing my second year. I am very interested in doing in-home care for children over the summer. I would be interested in attaining a care aid position as well as the program has certified me in this area. I am a very responsible and healthy individual. Some of my hobbies include hiking and running with my dog. I also have had a criminal record check done through the school in order to be admitted to the program. I am also CPR level C certified which is another requirement of my program. In relation to my history, I was an only child raised up north in the small town of Prince Rupert. I have always known that I was interested in health care, and am very happy with the career I have chosen thus far. Unfortunately I will be doing my practicum at Kelowna General Hospital from June 1- July 15. During this time, I will be working 12-hour shifts, 4 days on and 5 days off. I will be more than willing to work around these times with you to remain working as much as possible during this period.
