My professional career began with formal training in General Nursing in New Zealand, where I specialized in serving in the operating theaters of hospitals, a place where great organizational skills are expected. I went on to a number of successful ventures in the Australian non-profit sector including leading a fundraising revitalization of The Huon Eldercare Foundation, which operated the only aged care facility in the district. Despite being in a rather impoverished part of Tasmania, I was able to convince local business leaders to donate 1% of their operating profits on an ongoing basis by showing the benefits to their businesses of providing quality care to the older generation.
I served in a public information capacity as the first female attendant of the Western Australian Parliament and went on to initiate, promote and maintain their Education Office, collaborating with the Law Society and Electoral Commission.
Having made the transition from bedside nursing to socially conscious entrepreneurship, I realized that education and sharing of information were my great passion. That lead me to do significant outreach work in Health Education and Health Promotion as well as public speaking on health reform. I held research and promotion appointments with The Western Australian Drug Abuse Task Force
As for public speaking, I was persuasive enough, both on Australian national television and in public meetings, to lead a successful campaign to provide expanded rights to parents in court cases involving their children.

Since 2008, I have been studying and applying the teachings of Dr. John Demartini.

However, as all my family lives in Australia I miss the sheer joy of playing with children so I am applying to this wonderful site. Thank you kindly
