I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States. I began working with children of all ages when I was in secondary school. I formed lessons, led games, and supervised large groups. It was then that I started learning to use creativity to communicate different concepts to kids.
I attended college at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Communications. Following that, I began living abroad. Volunteering in Santiago, Chile is where I learned Spanish through emersion. I have been to over 40 countries and have volunteered in every continent.
When it comes to working with children, I have always maintained that my first job is to protect and educate them while maintaining full transparency with the parents. When that happens, fun, relationship and friendships can take place. After over ten years of working with kids, I have learned that my presence in the life of a kid should never be taken likely. If I am not able to fully commit to a desired time period because of travels or any other reason, I won't take the position.
I absolutely love and enjoy working with kids. I think I would do an excellent job at this position and aid in the Spanish language education of the kids.
