For over 5 years I regularly volunteered at Connaught Heights Preschool where I would provide support to Ms. Rogers class of 3 and 4 year old children. I also have 2 years experience volunteering with children in the Queensborough Community Centre as assistant summer camp leader. in which I helped design daily activities for children of various ages. I learned how difficult it can be to manage the varying needs of children in diverse stages of development, which lead to the development of my ability to care for each child individually.
In my spare time I enjoy embracing my Irish culture by indulging in traditional Irish dance, for the past 13 years I have danced both competitively and leisurely. I also assisted in the instruction of younger dance students in my school. In addition, I swam competitively for 6 years and taught the younger swimmers. I enjoy being active when the weather is nice and finding fun things to do outside, as well as baking and board games when the days get colder.
