About Me
I am an aspiring teacher and recent graduate of UBC with a BA in International Relations. I will be starting the Bachelor's of Education program at UBC this fall. I currently work in a learning centre and volunteer in a Life Skills class, which is for students with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, autism, and delayed adapted behaviour skills. I am passionate about working with children and youth. I have experience tutoring students with learning differences and difficulties, nannying three young children, coaching field hockey, and volunteering in NGOs involved in children's health. I love the outdoors, being active, and challenging myself physically, through jobs such as tree planting and playing several sports (and I just ran my first marathon!) I also love being creative, especially in improvised theatre. I was co-president of the UBC Improv Club where I performed in and hosted shows, casted teams, and ran improv workshops.
