Spent 3 years as a camp counselor to 10 3rd Grade, and then 4th Grade girls, all from low income families or otherwise difficult situations. I was their counselor at summer camp for a week, and then through out the year, every week through tutoring, activities and trips to the Zoo, Amusement parks etc. These years and experiences have taught me so much about not just how to work with kids and a wealth of tutoring approaches, but to also how to help these kids grow into the best version of themselves!
