I have recently moved down to London, ON for my graduate program in Kinesiology. I have lived in northern Ontario my whole life, so the big city is a brand new experience for me. I studied Kinesiology at Lakehead University and obtained my Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology this past May. I have worked with children for most of my life as I worked at a summer camp for the past 6 years. The campers were primarily from Children's Aid and would stay overnight for a full week at a time. Due to the small size of the camp, I worked in various capacities, including cabin leading, lifeguarding, maintenance crew, kitchen help, etc. Throughout the years I progressed into the positions of Boating Director and then to Waterfront Director, where I would also assist the camp nurse in her duties.
I have a great passion for all ages, as I have worked extensively with children and youth and I have studied older adults through my minor in Gerontology. I love to promote healthy active living in all I surround myself with and strongly believe that an active lifestyle should be fun and enjoyable - especially for the kids.
