I have just graduated from Concordia University in Montreal with an education degree. I have had practicum placements in a grade two, grade three and kindergarten class and I am very comfortable around children of all ages, including those that may have special needs. I think these classroom experiences greatly lend to my ability to perform well in this position. I also have had the opportunity to volunteer at an orphanage in Uganda for 2 months. I believe that it is important to provide a nurturing, safe environment for children to engage in constructive activities and play. I enjoy doing art or educational projects with children but I also believe activities that keep children active such as going to the park are equally as important.
