My name is Jasmin De Matos and I am currently a 19 year old student at York University working towards my BA in Human Rights & Equity Studies, with hopes of one day becoming an elementary school teacher. I am very family oriented and understand the importance of spending time with other individuals who help bring out the best in ourselves through recreational activities, play, and simply quiet time. With that said, I am an outgoing and responsible female who enjoys having fun and experiencing new adventures while always being cautious of my surroundings; I especially enjoy singing and dancing, art, going to the park, swimming, and simply making fun times. I have previously worked in a grade one classroom where I have had the opportunity and privilege to work first hand with a group of six year old children for one year, assisting them specifically in reading, writing, mathematics, and arts. I also had the privilege of supervising and monitoring these children through recesses' and lunch periods, making sure a peaceful atmosphere was always present. Overall, I love working with kids and hope that through this experience, I can make fun memories for both myself and the family in which I am assisting.
