Hello.
I am a fun and caring individual who thrives in the outdoors. I enjoy working with kids and teaching in any sort of environment. I graduated from university a year ago where I studied outdoor recreation and education. I have traveled a decent amount in the last 5 years and spent my summers working for various summer residential camps. Travelling and spending time on my own at a young age allowed for me to develop self responsibility, maturity and gratitude for many things in life.
My background in childcare is through outdoor education and my summers spent a camp where I counseled kids aged 6-16. I am very passionate about the outdoors and believe getting kids outside is extremely important to their development. Children at young ages require ways in which to expand upon their imagination and develop their creative abilities, I think getting them to explore outside and play as much as possible is a great way to do just that.
My hobbies include hiking, canoeing, crocheting, baking, photography and playing board games.
