    I am a Child/Youth Care Counsellor with my B.Ed., Double Major of Science and Drama and M.Ed., Reggio Emilia Inspired. I have worked within the private and public education system as well as Governess/Nanny, home and Family Management. For the past few years, I have not worked full time within the family environment and only recently decided to try and find a positive, complimentary post with a family in or near my hometown of Toronto. I have lived on-site as well as leasing my own flat within a short bicycle ride or walking distance. However, when living on-site, it is my preference to have private quarters similar to a bachelor flat in opposition to a bedroom in a basement. Time to myself is important for me as well as the desire to honour and respect the children being with their parent/s when everyone is home. I am a very highly responsible individual and require little, if any, directives as whatever is needing to be attended to gets 'done'. I am a dedicated community volunteer within many different areas doing art therapy and narration with children and alzheimer folks. I prefer use of my bicycle to hopping into my car! Keeps me healthy and on the move!
