Hi, I am Canadian and most recently lived and worked in Houston, Texas for more than four years as a Nanny to a young boy. On my return to Canada I returned to school to become a Montessori teacher. I have been working as a Montessori Teacher now for more than a year with children ages 2-1/2 to five years of age. My contract ends in June and I have decided to continue my journey as a Nanny. In addition I tutored children in English comprehension for two years while in Texas. I also volunteered as a Teachers Aide for almost five years in a pre-K ESL class in Texas. I love being with children, they are my passion. I enjoy surfing the web, playing board games, reading, going for walks, watching movies and trying new things. I am an extremely patient and non judgmental individual. Having been trained as a Montessorian I would help any child to learn to do things for themselves so that they can grow and expand their skills at all times and at all ages. I feel that children can do much more for themselves than many people give them credit and they enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done,
