As a graduate from Western Quebec Career Centre Personal Support Worker Certificate program, I recently complete my last work placement at Governor Walk in Ottawa, where I provided care for Alzheimer’s and Elder people. I have learned how to effectively handle and manage various situations and have acquired skills which have helped me to provide care to Clients. I have PDSB(moving patient safety principle), FIRST AID and CPR Certificate. I have a positive, caring attitude and always put the clients' needs first. I work well on a team and can step in and provide leadership when needed. I am always prepared to put in extra effort when necessary to ensure that the people under my care receive the care and services they need and deserve. I follow safety procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment.
