About me: I am a 26 year old university student studying sustainable agriculture. Originally from Montreal I moved to BC in 2014 to pursue my studies in a field that I am so passionate about. I look forward to graduating so that I can make a difference in our urban communities through agriculture projects that are centered around community building, food justice and education. Nature, environmentalism, cooking and arts are all things that I am very passionate about. As someone who has spent a fair bit of time abroad (mostly in Latin America) I am fascinated by different cultures and bring that openness into whatever I do. I speak English, French and intermediate Spanish, all of which I am happy to use while working. I grew up in a very large family always surrounded by young children of all ages and I have had experience working as a nanny with a young boy from the ages of 2-5.

As a nanny I like to plan our days around creative projects, outdoor fun and other activities that are both engaging and interactive. Nature walks, reading books, gardening, crafts, beach trips are all examples of ways I look forward to spending time with your loved ones. I believe in using positive reinforcement and non-violent communication. I love to cook and I am happy to accommodate any dietary needs; vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan are all diets I am familiar with preparing. I am open to doing some light housekeeping such as dishes, laundry, tidying but would like keep most of the emphasis on childcare.

I am currently taking classes and would be unable to provide childcare on Tuesdays AM-5pm, Wednesdays AM-2pm and Thursdays AM-5pm, otherwise my schedule is very flexible.
