My name is Emilie , I was born and raised in Toronto but am currently living and studying in Montreal. I am the youngest of three, with an older brother and sister. My mom is American, while my dad is Italian but I have lived in Canada all of my life. I study Anthropology at McGill University and have really enjoyed learning critical thinking and analysis in my studies. One of my hobbies is dancing, which I have been doing since I was nine years old. While I have experience in ballet, jazz and modern, hip-hop is my favourite style and I have been in various classes, companies and dance programs. I have been a member of McGills's Dance Pack for the past three years, and am the co-President this year as well as a choreographer. I have really enjoyed being a part of this team, we practice twice a week and perform at various McGill shows and events. From this I have acquired such skills as leadership, working with a team and organization. I also enjoy music, art and anything creative. I love meeting and getting to know new people whether they are children, young adults or elders and I am always looking for new experiences. I spent last summer cherry picking in British Columbia where I met a lot of amazing people and I learned a lot about myself. Family and friends are everything to me and I strongly believe in treating others how you want to be treated.
