I am a born and raised Brockville native, now back home after finishing my schooling.
I have plenty of experience in the childcare field, having worked as a Governess overseas, tutored English as a Second Language, created and run children's programming at both museums and a public library, and have been looking after children of all ages since the age of 12.
I am an extremely level-headed individual who's very down-to-earth and exceedingly responsible. Children's safety and well-being are always at the heart of every decision I make while on the job. I have first-aid and CPR training and respond to any emergency with a cool, calm demeanour.
I enjoy a variety of cultural and outdoor activities, have a great sense of humour and love to laugh and have fun. With two younger brothers, I am rather used to all sorts of fun. Whether it's tea parties or sword fights, in tents or forts, swimming and building sandcastles at the beach or playing boardgames at home, making homemade playdough or reading stories and a lullabye just before bed, I am game and able to adapt to whatever is of interest to a particular child.
In regards to helping out around the house, I am a competent cook and create healthy meals, more often than not, from scratch. I do admittedly have a bit of a sweet tooth and enjoy baking yummy treats with and/or for good girls and boys. I have no problems 'mucking-in' and am rather handy as well.
