Hi My Name is Maria and I am young retired from Public Services after 28 years. I am looking for Part-time, work in Greater Vancouver area. With my previous experience I believe I will be an asset working with elderly people, young at heart, or with people in need of assistance.
My previous experience ranges from Project Manager to Managing a Corrections Office in the Vancouver area. My vast experience with the public ranges from Customer Service to assisting homeless people with Mental Health Drug addiction etc.

While with the Ministry of Housing and Social Development I was managing 15 offices in Vancouver servicing our Staff in Ergonomics, WHIMIS, office allocation, earthquake preparedness, first aid and CPR, etc. and the implementation of new office equipment training staff in general. In Corrections dealing with general public and assigning cases sent by the Courts to our Probation Officers, and keeping the office running smoothly from every angle. I am a team player, organized, clean, reliable and happy to be of service.

I have also raised 3 children now young adults which gave me a vast experience in looking after people, as well as, multi-tasking. On the side, I taught dance on the North shore for 20 years 13 of them at an event where I had between 60 to 100 people and mostly age 50 and up! I have also worked as an activity worker in several occasions at the local assisted living centers. At the present time I am looking to be of service to our growing population of young at heart. I don’t take things for granted. I would appreciate the opportunity to a personal interview where we would have the chance to see if we can be a good fit.
