MY WHOLE LIFE HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO CATING FOR CHILDREN.
As a TEACHER, I took great pride in ensuring that the educational requirements and social and emotional needs were met. All this while the children were surrounded by an atmosphere of kindness, fairness and creativity. During this time, my family became FOSTER PARENTS and took care of challenges dealing with anxiety, separation loss and working with the social workers and their system. As an owner/operator of my IN HOME DAYCARE, I continued to provide that same care in addition to the daily needs of infants and toddlers including potty training. Having close contact with parents was rewarding and highly beneficial to both children and parents. I continued with full time care, driving children to nursery school and providing before and after school care until June of 2019.
My personal family consists of my husband, my 2 grown daughters and 2 school-aged grandchild. My husband and I recently moved into an apartment in East Kildonan after living in St. Andrews most of our married life.
I have a Bachelor of Education degree from th University of Manitoba. During my years, I have taken many courses - all relevant to the care of children.
I enjoy gardening, crafting, collecting family information, tv, walking and visiting with friends and family. As well as being a blood donor, I volunteer with my church group.
