I have been working with children for the over 25 years. I believe that parents are a child's first and most influential teacher. As a nanny I feel it is my privilege to come along side you and assist you in helping your child to become all they were created to be. I believe that setting appropriate boundaries and consistently following through are paramount to creating a calm, safe and nurturing environment for all members of the family.
I am a mother of 2 grown girls and a grandma of 1. I enjoy going on short outings with the children such as the park, museums, library, or waterfront. I also enjoy taking them to visit their friends, games, dance, music or whatever they are interested and involved in. I also enjoy baking and creating my own slow cooker recipes, especially soups. I actually like doing laundry, especially children's laundry. I like to live and work in a clean and organized environment and am open to doing light housekeeping geared around the children' needs.
On my own time I enjoy reading, writing children's stories and creating a parenting/childcare blog, knitting visiting friends, church and singing.
I am a 53 and young at heart nanny with the capacity to give your child(ren) the same love as though they were my own grandchild. I have much wisdom to impart on them and would love the opportunity to share my life with your family.
