My name is Deanna , I lived in Val Gagne my whole life which is approximately an hour from Timmins. I recently completed my 1st year in the Early Childhood Education Program at Northern College. I am seeking a full-time summer position as a Nanny, I can start anytime in May until September 2015 (That's when I start my 2nd year). I have always loved helping children grow and develop to their full potential and I believe they learn best when incorporating a new skill they should work on while doing something they love; which is called The Play to Learn theory. I enjoy being outside such as, biking, swimming, hiking, jogging, and many more activities, I also believe the right amount of physical activity and eating right is essential to a happy life. Although I do think it's okay to treat yourself once in a while. I have had experience with children between the ages of Infant to 12 years of age. I have my G2 license and a vehicle I also have both my CPR and First Aid certificate and I will be getting my criminal background check and WHIMS course soon.
To add; I am a caring, patient and understanding individual, and I believe this position would give me the hands on experience that I need.
