I graduated my Bachelor of Education major in ECE last 2001. I was been a classroom teacher for 8 years in Philippines in a Korean International Preschool. I worked in Hong Kong as a live-in English tutor/nanny of 2 Chinese children for age 1 year old boy and 5 years old girl for 4 years and even travel with them to Thailand and Indonesia ,China and Macau to Assist them. I came to Canada 2013 and work as a Live-in Nanny/ Caregiver of 2 children (boy just 9months old and girl just 2 years old when I started) for 3 years of a very nice and kind RCMP family who were first lived in Castlegar and was relocated here in Comox on 2013,December and l am with them through that. Until last 2016, I was granted my Permanent Resident status. Still this good employer of mine recomended me to work here in my present job in one of the Day Care in Comox . I am working fulltime in that Day Care until 4:30pm some days and 5:30pm sometimes. I am still working on getting my drivers Licence this coming June for me to become N. If the place have bus route I can easily comeby, for now I will admit my mobility is not that much. I am not going to put sugar coating to my self. But I am just proud to say that I was thankful that the 2 canadian children I took care for 3 years was happily enjoying their childhood doing Arts and strolling around never missed strong start .parks and bus rides. catching bugs and going to seashore even we are only biking and using strollers. At 4 years old the girl knows how to write her name and spell her name .cutting. colors and basic learning same as the boy who love playing and going for adventure all the time. I have my first Aid and Food Safe as well as ECE Assistant Certificate taken and up to date here in Canada. I am working in the Day Care for 2 years now. I can do overnight baby sitting on a scheduled set up on friday. Day baby sitting on Saturdays. If i will be fortunate to pass with my N this June maybe I can do evenings on the weekdays. after 5.30 depending on schedules. I am open to negotiation if you do really need on the weekdays depending on transportation matter.
