About Me
I'd love to welcome your child into my licensed and bilingual daycare family!
My home daycare is on the main level of our home and has great big windows with lots of natural light! Our backyard has a swing, slide and sandbox and I offer separate rooms for each child to sleep in with their own bed, playpen or crib.In the mornings, I offer circle time, teach french, outdoor play and supervised free play. After lunch, we have reading, nap/quiet time, crafts and musical stimulation. If it's a beautiful day, we head outside after nap time to enjoy what else the day has to offer!
Every day I provide home made and nutritious breakfasts, lunches and two snacks. I went to school for culinary management and make all my own organic baby food and follow the Canada food guide when preparing/planning meals and snacks. A sample of what I offer is as follows:
Breakfast: fruit smoothies, banana loaf, hot and cold cereal, fresh fruit, pancakes, veggie frittata, muffins and more
Lunch: beef sliders, baked salmon, homemade soups, tuna casserole, spaghetti marinara, fresh veggies. chicken stirfry, and more
Snack: fresh fruit and baked goods, applesauce and granola, perogies, yogourt, veggie sticks and hummus, fruit yogourt popsiclesI am fully certified in St John's First Aid and level C CPR. I meet all government regulations in regards to ratio and I have a safety check certificate from Centrepointe childcare services. We are in walking distance of 4 parks and 7 schools. Our home is smoke free. I offer services in English and French. We are 5 minutes away from the Queensway Carleton Hospital. I am also a member of the CCPRN.
In case of emergency I have a backup care person available (also a member of the CCPRN, with first aid and 15 years experience). Parents will tell you that in the seven years I've been open, I've only had to close once for a day! References and police check available upon request. Must love cats. We have 2 young kitties!

Cynthia has been a figure in my family’s lives for more than 5 years now. She is incredibly hard working and organized. I honestly don’t know where she finds all the time! She is very active with Scouts Canada as well as running a successful home day care and a busy family of 5. I couldn’t recommend her more!
