  • About Me

    As an ESL teacher overseas and in Vancouver, I facilitated classes large and small with children ages 4-17. This required planning engaging and fun lessons, managing behaviour, and finding ways to motivate children to succeed. It also included organising field trips and activities, keeping accurate records, and keeping the lines of communication open with parents.

    This summer, I volunteered at Van Dusen Garden in Vancouver in their summer camp program. This involved assisting with garden, classroom, and field trip activities with groups of up to 24 children.

    I also have years of experience babysitting for friends and family; in recent years, this has been for 3-4 days at a time, managing daily routines, preparing meals, doing light housekeeping, and taking care of pets.
