Hi! My name is Cora. I am a young woman looking to make a difference in the world around me. I currently work as a Direct Support Worker, but I feel that the time has come for a change. I have always enjoyed children and the energy and enthusiasm they bring to life. I have had quite a bit of experience with children all through my growing up years. I am a very responsible, hard working person and I take my job's responsibilities very seriously. That said, I do love to have fun! I think one of the main reasons I love children so much is the fact that I can be myself around them; I can act completely crazy and make a complete fool of myself, but they LOVE it! I believe that a child's growing up years are of utmost importance - this is the time when they learn, form their own opinions, discover new things, and are being shaped into the people they will become. I want to have a part in that process. I believe that I have a personality and character that would impact and influence children in a positive way, teaching them to love themselves and the people around them. I am a Christian and I firmly believe that children need to be taught about God's loving nature and that He has a wonderful and good plan for everyone. It would be my privilege to be able to be a part of a child's walk with God. I am looking for a full time, live-out position, Monday to Friday, day-time hours. I am a very physical and health-conscious person. I love the outdoors and being active, so this would be an important factor to me. I also love to cook and bake.
