Who am I? Why should you entrust the safety, wellbeing and quality of your child’s experiences to me?
My name is Christi and I believe that childhood sets the foundation for life. My goal is to provide your children with the highest quality childcare available, while ensuring they have a memorable and fun childhood. I hold a degree in Family Social Sciences, which is where I learned about promoting child wellness. My previous careers included being a Counsellor, youth worker, group home worker, and volunteering at a day camp and as a youth group leader. I am able to provide proof of my certifications (Bachelor of Human Ecology, Police Records Checks, etc. ) as well as references upon request.
I am looking for a family that will allow me to combine my love for interacting with and caring for children, with a way to earn an income and be able to spend time with my family. I take my job very seriously, as I understand the level of responsibility entrusted to me. I promise that your children’s safety and happiness is always my number one priority at all times. I am a hard worker, responsible, reliable and dedicated to this job. I can promise you that you will not be disappointed with my services. I have had great feedback from every client, and have never had any issues or complaints.
What would a typical day look like?
Each day will be packed full of activities. I believe in spending time outdoors – exploring, using sidewalk chalk, bubbles, flying kites, playing games and other activities, going to parks and the splash pad and more. We will also do arts and crafts daily. Your child(ren) will enjoy activities such as painting, making sculptures, and a variety of other themed crafts. Additionally, I feel it is important to provide children with opportunities to learn, be challenged and stimulated every day. Each day, we will read stories and do other activities that will stimulate their minds.
