I am a 29 year old university graduate. I have a degree in Fine Art with psychology and sociology coursework. Working with kids is my favourite kind of work because it is both rewarding and challenging.

I have over 10 years experience working with kids of all ages in many different kinds of settings. I have worked in private households to daycares and schools. I have not gone down the ECE route, because i prefer to work directly with families. I would describe my care techniques as relationship based. I think it works best when you form a healthy relationship with the kids. My experience has taught me that if you respect kids they respect you right back.

I have a special interest in working with infants and new moms. I have been fascinated with pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood since I was a child. I am in the process of being a certified Postpartum Doula.

I just recently moved to Vancouver from Ontario with my partner because his career took us here. We are very excited to experience the West Coast and all the wonderful things it has to offer.
